illustration chp 5 pencils

I always wanted to try a comic page and I took the chance when it came to illustrating the fifth chapter of my fanfiction. I'm going to show you the result in three steps - pencils, inks and colours - so here's the first one.

My sketches look quite messy sometimes, and I already tried to work a little more exact than usual here. Normally, I add the shadings after finishing the line art, for instance.

It's a small page, though, as it only has half the size of a common sheet of paper.
